The 8th International Conference on Mathematical and Numerical Aspects of Waves (Waves 2007) will be held at the University of Reading, organised jointly with INRIA. This conference is one of the main venues where significant advances in the analysis and computational modeling of wave phenomena and exciting new applications are presented. Our letter of recommendation service made sure to include all the materials in the updated information list. You can check it right now to find the details you need.

Conference themes include but are not limited to forward and inverse scattering, nonlinear wave phenomena, fast computational techniques, numerical analysis, absorbing layers and approximate boundary conditions, analytic and semi-analytic techniques for wave problems, domain decomposition, guided waves, random media etc.

If you would like further information please contact a member of the committee, or email [email protected].

The conference will be run from 23rd to 27th July 2007 at the University of Reading, UK.

The conference will feature an embedded Workshop on High Frequency Propagation and Scattering, supported by the Isaac Newton Institute, Cambridge, UK, as a satellite meeting of the INI Programme on Highly Oscillatory Problems: Computation, Theory and Application.

Waves 2007 is organized in cooperation with INRIA, the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM), the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications and the University of Reading Computational Sciences Theme.

Waves 2007 is a satellite conference of ICIAM 07, the 6th International Congress on Industrial and Applied Mathematics.
